2 Corinthians 5:21
“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
There is something deeply nourishing about remembering that we do not have to earn our way into being made right.
We live in a world that often teaches us to strive harder, perform better, and measure our worth by outcomes. But the gospel tells a different story — one of grace already given, restoration already offered, and righteousness already secured through Christ.
Jesus, who knew no sin, became the offering for ours.
Not because we deserved it.
Not because we perfected ourselves first.
But because love made a way.
This truth frees us from the quiet pressure to prove ourselves worthy — in our faith, in our health, in our daily choices.
We can show up imperfectly.
We can begin again.
We can take the next step forward with humility and gratitude.
Just as nourishment strengthens the body, grace strengthens the soul.
Today, may you rest in the peace of knowing that you are already invited into a right relationship with God through Christ — not because of what you have done, but because of what He has done.
And from that place of peace, we are able to live, choose, and love differently.

A quiet reflection for today:
Where might God be inviting you to release striving and receive grace?
